Make A Day Of It - In Burlington!!!!

Burlington North Dakota is the oldest city in Ward County.  It was founded in 1884 and was the County Seat until 1888.  As of 2000, there were approximately 1,096 people living in the city.

Although Burlington is only 10 minutes from Minot, it has maintained its small town atmosphere.  Burlington is a community that cares about its citizens.  It has an elementary school for children from kindergarten to the eighth grade.  Recently, members of the community volunteered their time and energy to put up modern playground equipment in the school yard.  Burlington also has a senior citizen facility.
